Ladi Dadi (Tommy Trash Remix) - Steve Aoki

Last Thursday I had the honor of seeing Australian progressive house superstar Tommy Trash live at Club Glow in Washington, DC. Coming on a little after midnight, he played an energy-packed set that kept the crowd rocking, grooving, and jumping for nearly two hours. Above is the official video released after the show. The video below is just a professionally recorded segment of his set (and you can see me spacing out in the crowd at 0:43). Also, I'm including my favorite Tommy Trash song, his remix of Steve Aoki's Ladi Dadi. Enjoy.

I Love Summer (Austin Maddox Remix) - Honey Claws

Not much information is available about Texas-based producer Austin Maddox. The casual observer of his SoundCloud page will notice that his first release was only eight months ago, but let that be no testament to the quality of his work. Just three days ago, this acid-trap gem placed as a runner-up in Honey Claws' I Love Summer Remix Competition for its "blend of heavy drum beats and chill synth work." Personally, I fancy this remix more than the actual winner—perhaps that's my inner ghettofabulousness showing through. Anyway, check out more of Austin's work, and enjoy!

Girl (I Used To Know) (MiM0SA Remix) - JMSN

Los Angeles-based producer Tigran Mkhitaryan (MiM0SA) has been a steady force in electronic music over the past couple years.  The self-proclaimed prophet of "future trill" has been working in the studio for the past few months, but his Fall 2012 North American tour kicks off in Philadelphia in mere days. Having found amazing success last year on his first tour as a headlining artist, MiM0SA's reputation as a dynamic, energetic performer and producer is spreading globally. This remix of JMSN's Girl I Used To Know features silky smooth male vocals mixed with some tangy synths and a heavily hip-hop-influenced base line. If you like this one, it is available for free on his Facebook with a simple "Like." Enjoy.

Nightride (Preview) - Fehrplay

The newest signee to Eric Prydz' exclusive label, Pryda Friends, is an up-and-comer by the name of Ferhplay. Norwegian by birth, Ferhplay resides in London, where he is a well-known producer and DJ. Over the last couple of years, his releases "Meow" and "Ayita" have earned airtime on radio stations worldwide and have been praised and remixed by superproducers Axwell, Pete Tong, and more. With this newest release, it seems as though Ferhplay has experimentally departed from his comfort zone of bouncy progressive-house synths to adopt a more funkified vocal sampling and deep plucking synths. This is how progressive house should be. Enjoy.

On Yr Side - Slow Magic

Having surfaced numerous times on blogs worldwide, producer Slow Magic is gaining a reputation for  uniquely ambient chillwave. But the question remains—who or what is the enigma, Slow Magic? Much like SBTRKT, Slow Magic prefers to be shrouded in an air of mystery. Upon searching the moniker, Google yields only links to Slow Magic's Facebook, Bandcamp, SoundCloud, Twitter, and Vimeo accounts, which only state that "Slow Magic is the sound made by an unknown imaginary friend." All presumptions aside, Slow Magic's music is amazing. Check out his/her/their newest album, ▲, on Bandcamp, or go listen to any singles on SoundCloud. Enjoy.

Bonus: I also included another recent remix of Satellite Stories' Sirens. It's a personal favorite of mine.
