What is musipus?
musipus is an electronic music blog devoted to the dissemination and promotion of great electronic music and its creators. The tracks posted on musipus vary significantly within the electronic realm, so if you don't like a song, check something else out, and you'll probably find something you do enjoy.

What's up with the name?
I get asked this question it a lot. The name "musipus" came about as a fusion of two words—music and octopus. Today, there is nothing octopus-related about musipus (nor has there ever been) aside from its name, however musipus continues to grow and evolve as a site and a source for music, so perhaps one day there will be something octopus-related.

How is it pronounced?
In short, phonetically. One would pronounce "musipus" as if he were beginning with the word "music" and finishing with the word "octopus."

How do I download songs?
When I first started musipus, I relied on third-party websites to host music files for downloads. Now I use my own web provider to host those files. For older posts, you may encounter some broken links for song downloads, but for all newer posts, just right click "Save Link As..." on the name of the song within the post.
